Project Description

Location:   Albury, NSW 2640
Fernhurst Albury was originally constructed in the 1920’s, originally as a residence, then in later years it was used as a photographic studio and lecturer offices for Charles Sturt University.
In 2013, J Wilkinson Constructions was engaged to undertake a complete restoration of the existing structure and add further living spaces to transform this residence back to its former glory with the conveniences of modern day living. This included re-pitching the roof, making the original underground cellar accessible from inside the residence, completely re-wire, insulate under floors and ceilings, re-plaster all walls and ceilings while restoring all original ceiling roses and lead light windows to maintain the period features of this grand residence.
This Multi Award winning residence claimed top renovation Master Builder Awards in both North East Victoria and Southern Central NSW 2015.
